Client: City and Islington College

At City & Islington College, Aquatect was commissioned to deliver  a state-of-the-art reptile facility.

We started with our silver-anodized aluminium racking system housing sleek glass vivariums with lockable doors and oversized light reveals. Dimmable lighting systems replicate natural day-night cycles, ensuring animals thrive. We’ve integrated UVB lighting and misting systems for humidity, perfect for tree frogs in taller enclosures and invertebrates in compact setups.

The themed tortoise habitat and larger lizard enclosures offer spacious environments, with robust PVC and aluminium construction. We also cater to larger snakes with sturdy enclosures and multiple basking lamps.

For chameleons, fully ventilated arboreal setups ensure airflow, misting, and optimal lighting.

This installation is a game-changer for education, offering accessible, professional enclosures ready for new inhabitants, enhancing both student learning and animal well-being.
