Established in 2008, Aquatect is a provider of specialist zoo and aquarium services.
Aquatect provides high-quality aquaria, filtration systems, and maintenance services for an extensive portfolio of clients, including zoos, public aquaria, wildlife rescue centres, colleges, universities, research facilities, and private clients.
The Aquatect team is made up of experts from diverse backgrounds, including zoo keepers, specialist construction professionals, welders and fibre-glassers. Our team members have held positions at Chester Zoo, London Zoo, Blue Planet Aquarium and Stapeley Water Gardens.
Aquatect is owned and run by James Dale. James has over 20 years’ experience working in zoos and has built and installed aquariums, vivariums and zoo enclosures for zoos, land-based colleges and universities across the country. James is also an accredited City and Guilds Industry Board Member for Animal Care.
